Ninja Sword surrendered in St James Ward

Ninja Sword surrender campaign launches

HANDING IN A WEAPON COULD SAVE A LIFE - INCLUDING YOUR OWN

In July , the Home Office are running a surrender scheme across England & Wales to offer safe disposal of ninja swords at designated police stations. If you own a ninja sword purchased before March 27, 2025, you may be eligible for compensation. Ninja swords purchased after that date can be surrendered but are not eligible for compensation.

A resident from St James Ward acted responsibly by surrendering 3 Ninja swords. The swords were collectable items kept at a residential address in the Ward. Officers responded promptly and arranged for the safe transportation for the weapons, helping to make the  local area safer.
